We are the generation unlucky to live just like that....

Global warming, devastating natural calamities,

Fossil fuel reduction, manmade ecological emergencies,

Power crisis, Water crisis...

We are face to face with the universe now...

Our easy living is at stake.....

Everything keeps on warning you that you are nothing, not even a dot in the whole universe....

There is going to be a psychological shift happens to the next generation by reading all these graffiti...

Their approach towards life is going to be entirely different....

My Airforce days...

Thanks to Airforce for giving me a lot of solitude with out having guilt of not contributing.....may be I could get it in plenty because majority wanted the other way.....

Seldom on such lonely moments, I used to see everything in different perception.....

When the heart of the world seeks love, peace and cooperation and looks beyond material accomplishment, I am working with an organisation which keeps a pilot as the most important person....
And an organisation grading people by how much damage they made to enemy, howmany killed, and howmany battle equipment got damaged....
Counting how much one sacrificed his life to eliminate the ‘enemy’....listing and boasting the equipment that could carry more bombs and missiles to destroy with more speed....
Working with an organisation completely themed around the sole purpose of physically destroying an 'enemy'.....

I felt sometimes that I shamelessly shrinked to the psych of a basic animal....

Is it not my life more worthy?
Can't I live up to my wisdom?

Am I really having freedom to do that...?

Keeping a day for love is nice...

Such a marvellous phenomena should be celebrated.
The moments of love are the most memorable part of one’s life.

On this day young people get lot of opportunities to hint, say or to show their special feelings….older people can cherish their golden days…lost lovers also can have this day to think of the haunting feelings once upon a time they felt and became so meaningless now…

Why can’t we be jubilant about such a unique thing in the life of mankind?

Letters to Editor TOI, About FDI on retail

When the economic and business professors started political analysis about FDI in retail business, we have again lost an opportunity to understand the issue properly. In the half page write-up, there were only three points they could hardly put forward to support FDI; one is that local stores will exist because majority of Indian don’t have car and fridge and the personal rapport with the shop keeper exists only in local stores. Second is that it brings cheaper goods, so pro-poor. Third is the agricultural prosperity that can be achieved by higher capacity of storage and refrigeration.

                        It means the foreign shops coming here are for rich people(Having car and fridge), not focused for poor. So the cheaper goods selling in these shops are obviously for rich and at last the high storage capacity of these shops will of course increase the agricultural prosperity, but of which farmer? The products of farmers who produce cheap will be stored and it can be from China also.

            Success stories of FDI are ok but we expect reason and logic behind it from scholars so that we are able to understand the issue absolutely. 

            

Diary with out year and date

                               Office stationeries were always my fascination. Diaries, envelops, writing materials, letter pads etc.…beginning of every year I had an urge to buy one diary thinking that this year every day will be accounted…blank diaries of past years are piled up now, filled up only first a few days which are written elaborately encroaching next days’ pages! The account of daily events then leaning day by day ….But I had occasions in every year that I have wrote something which may not be day logging but some personal sticky thoughts sprouting and haunting for a short period…These notes written on diary make me to keep it against the time…

                                Now I have decided to buy diary which does not have any dates or years printed; a kind of note book; I got it after a good search! (I wonder why companies are not marketing it! may be because they all want to make majority of people guilty of not writing diary daily)

                I am relaxed now, open a new page, write the date with year and start writing…, No guilty, No wastage of paper, No piling up of old diaries…

                So I got changed a bit, is not it?

Reservation - Letter to editor TOI on 12th Dec 2011

Welfare Govts. all over the world always try to uplift economically weaker sections of the society as a policy. So poor people in India are also should be looked after by the govt as a duty of it. Additionally India has a problem of caste system which makes certain caste people are poor for centuries. So caste wise degree of backwardness is analysed and an affirmative action as reservation system introduced. No way has it reduced the duty of a nation to uplift economically poor people of the country (Women reservation in the parliament is also an intentional action like wise).

                Fixed identity of an individual is not a phenomenon in India alone. The religion, customs, traditions etc. are not decided by the individuals, all are fixed by birth. Reservation system may fix it again some times but re-writing of centuries old horoscope of certain castes in Indian society is the most important role of modern Indian.

                Merit based private sector can very well dictate the required parameters fixed for the selection process, but then from the qualified people, they should select people to achieve an inclusive society. Our growing private sector should show the attitude for it.

                Now one can see the ‘untouchables’, once called, find place in offices and in administrative chairs and in every strata of society because we have taken an affirmative action to give them a place (not only voice). It happened not at all because we all thought, agreed and said that all are equal. It happened because we took concrete action as reservation.

                Only we need to look into its misuse, but your editorial said it other way.
