There are some basics about all kind of protests. Almost all protests are against existing laws of the land.It was the case when Gandhiji made salt and when Soudi women drove the car; not to say about big revolutions !!
Corruption is a big issue in India as it has grown like cancer cells and pulls India backward .It stops our vision,stops our hopes to develop...All our welfare programmes are going futile. It is going to be more harmful than our cast system done to our nation! Our existing penal code also not made to deal its vicious dimensions....
Our parliament and political system couldn't contain it so far because Indian mass is in the whirlpool of corruption. But that is one side.The other side is the intense but silent urge of the mass to go against it. The mass include the political class and the political leaders also.
As the seriousness of the issue is such and the mass support against is such,the movement of Anna team should be acceptable to a nation especially as it is peaceful.
WHAT ELSE WE ARE WAITING FOR !!?
We need not to be so particular about the framework of democracy or parliament. After all if these actions are not parliamentary or democratic,coin another word for the new system or add another meaning to these words....
Current parliament(including opposition) should shed its ego and should frankly come out to rise to the situation saying that " ya... we also erred...but we are ready to correct it"
That should be the spirit.....
